Routines!

Good morning! I looks to be another beautiful day!

I want to ask a question? Do you have routines when you get up in the mornings? I think we all do to some extent. I get up in the morning, clean up, shave, brush my teeth, comb my hair (I say that in the singular, not much left) make my bed, put on my clothes and go through the house opening all the blinds, letting the light come in! While brewing my coffee, though, I have added one more task, not really a task, but a desire which I have been doing for at least the last six months or more, I have communion to remember my Lord!

It’s been such a wonderful daily experience starting my day off celebrating what Christ did for me! But it’s become more that juat a drop of blood and torn piece of bread symbolizing His death and resurrection. No, it’s become a time of training and understanding, it’s not what He did but what He is still doing. He said I am the bread of life, that’s for the now and the future! Isaiah said by the stripes on His body we are healed! That’s for the now and the future! That drop of wine represents the blood that is still washing away sin. God told Noah after the flood, life is in the blood. Again life now and for ever!

It’s been a wonderful experience to daily take communion with Jesus, celebrating, not the past, although I never forget that, but what He is doing today, tomorrow adn the rest of my life! What a blessing it’s been!

Just a thought, just saying
